In late 2012, I was playing around with the idea of a weekly journaling introspective that was super easy to complete. I created a simple journaling card with the prompts already listed. Each week I grab a card and spend just a few minutes filling it out.
Over the past year, the #CurrentlyList community has exploded on instagram and in our brand new facebook group. Today I am excited to have Rachel M from Happy Scrappy Appy here to share her Currently List!

As the mother of a busy toddler, I have enjoyed completing Currently Journaling cards on a weekly (or bi-weekly) basis in order to capture a quick snapshot of our daily life.
I try to complete a Currently card each week on Sunday in order to have a bit of consistency. Some weeks I complete more than one card and some weeks fly by without a card at all. I have a few colors of the physical cards and have a version saved on my phone for times when I am separated from my supplies and want to jot a few things down!
When I complete physical card, I love to switch the color of ink to reflect the mood of the week or the match the photos that I know will surround the card. When I use the digital copy on my phone, I will use the Rhonna Designs App to add text and embellish the card a bit and then I will print it out when I print my photos for the week. Before the cards actually make it into my album, I usually share them on Instagram (@Rheart2you) and/or in the Facebook Group (Rachel Leanna).
This year in terms of documenting our lives I am trying something new; combining all of my pocket pages and 12×12 layouts into one album called my Album of Awesomeness. I slide in the completed Currently cards alongside printed photos in pocketed pages. With this method, I give myself the freedom and permission to embellish the pocket pages as much or as little as I have time for.
Having a Currently card completed allows me to document the everyday moments on a consistent basis, which helps save time when I have the chance to sit down with my supplies and document our life![divider_double]
