Vanessa Jotters

Mini-Jotters by Vanessa for #rukristin

The following post is a guest post from rukristin Creative Team member Vanessa. Today Vanessa is sharing a quick jotter tutorial and giveaway for the awesome jotters she made here.

Hi all, I don’t know about you, but life is super busy for me. So much so that I’m always wary of dropping the ball on something. So I decided to take matters into my own hands and to make myself some easy to carry around jotters.

For these lovelies, I used the Amelia 6 x 6 papers pad from the rukristin store. I really love the modern lines and bold colors of this line of papers. It’s not always easy to find a project to do with these smaller paper pads.

But I think this size makes for a very versatile jotter. You can easily throw it in your handbag so you always have something to write down that brilliant idea on.

I chose my favorite patterns from the paper pad. I cut each of them down to 4 x 6 inches. I folded them in half, sometimes with the pattern on the outside, sometimes on the inside. The other advantage of these paper pads is that they are one sided. That leaves lots of white space to write down whatever you need to commit to paper.

I made each jotter from 6 papers. I also used some of the 2 x 6 inch pieces that were left. I used my circle punch to punch out the cute index tabs. I used the ‘List’ stamp set from the rukristin shop to stamp some numbers. I then glued the stamped circle to a page, added another circle to the back while sandwiching the page between the two.
