Question: How do you clean your stamps?

Answer: So since I use mostly black ink, I don’t deep clean my stamps all that often. Most of the time when I’m stamping, I’ll ink the stamp, stamp my project, then stamp the excess ink off on a sheet of scrap paper. Sometime the ink gets up around the edges, and I’ll wipe it down with a paper towel or baby wipe.

When I want my stamps to be perfectly clean (like if I’m going to use a light colored ink after stamping in black all day), I’ll spray some stamp cleaner (I make my own with 1 part rubbing alcohol and 2 parts water in a little spray bottle) on the stamp and then wipe it down with a paper towel or baby wipe.

If I’m using the StazOn permanent ink, I’ll use the proprietary StazOn cleaner to make sure everything comes off.
