What’s going on around here this week:
It feels really really good to be home. After being in California for almost two weeks, I was definitely ready to sleep in my own bed, cuddle my pig, and make lots of homemade food. 2014 is going to be a busy and adventurous year — and it was really wonderful to kick it off with such a special trip.
While at home, in the cold and the snow, I got pretty introspective this week. Becky spent the week with us and I spent a lot of time working on my vacation album, Ali Edwards’ One Little Word (which I’ll share some of later this week), and putting together a lot of plans for the next six months.
Last night, I announced the new Currently List Ambassadors, I am thrilled that these women are stepping up and helping me take the Currently Journaling Challenge to the next level. Taking five minutes to write down your right now is really important to me, and it means a lot that there are other people who think its important and want to get involved as well!
The further we get into 2014, the more I find myself wanting to purge my life of unnecessary things. Most of that is coming in the form of stuff around the house that I know I’ll never get around to using appropriately. I spent a long time this week going through most of my scrapbooking and crafting supplies and putting together de-stash boxes that I’ll have for sale later in the week. Both 12×12 size and pocket page/Project Life style boxes will be available.
