Take five minutes to tell your ‘right-now’ story.

In late 2012, I was playing around with the idea of a weekly journaling introspective that was super easy to complete. I created a simple journaling card with the prompts already listed. Each week I grab a card and spend just a few minutes filling it out.
Over the past year, the #CurrentlyList community has exploded on instagram and in our brand new facebook group. Today I am excited to have one of our Currently Ambassadors Amy T Schubert from Lemon and Raspberry here to share her Currently List!
Ambassador: Amy T Schubert
This has been a weird year so far. My first January-April without a day job. A lot of time spent out of time for family and friend commitments. Lots of highs and lows. My One Little Word for the year has me focusing on nurturing projects that I already have started rather than launching new ones. I have done Project Life the last 2 years but for a myriad of reasons haven’t gotten around to it yet. I have plans to get my Project Life up and running this year, but in the meantime, I have committed to filling out Currently List card on a regular basis. That said, the Currently List is the only memory keeping I have done consistently so far in 2014.
My right-now story can’t really be retold from the future. I can’t go back and remember what I was reading in any given week or when I started planning that backyard project. The Currently List keeps me centered and keeping up the creative habit when I don’t have time for other projects. In previous years I had kept a “Read and Watched” list for every week in my Project Life layouts, but since I did it all digitally it was hard for me to keep up on a regular basis.
Having the Currently List cards already printed out has totally solved that problem for me.
Every other Friday I fill out a randomly-selected blank Currently List card. I have a dozen or so printed out and ready (in different colors, including exclusive L&R green). I have even taken blank cards with me when I knew I would be out of town on the special Friday. I share my Currently List on my Instagram account, and then also in the Currently List Facebook Group. Each card goes into the Project Life pocket for the corresponding week, and then (eventually) will be shared again on my blog when I share that finished Project Life page.
