June Project Life
Time Period: June 2015
Format: 8x6 album. My summer months are in this smaller-format album.

Project Life (tm) is a memory-keeping system designed by Becky Higgins. I've been using the Project Life system of life-documenting for several years now. You can view previous rukristin Project Life posts here.
How I handle Project Life: So I've been doing Project Life in different forms for almost four years now. My albums never look the same. Some of them are 12x12. Some of them are 8x6. I always skip December and document using my December Daily album instead.

How I'm currently Project Lifeing: My summer months are in a 6x8 album. I find that because of the erratic summer schedule, it's so much easier to document the summer months by events and moments instead of in a weekly or monthly format. My pages are still in chronological order, but there might be two or three spreads for one week's worth of time and only one spread for a span of two weeks where things were a little more quiet around here.

Highlights:
One of my biggest hurdles is the build up of anxiety after not working on this project for a little while. I make myself nervous thinking about whether or not what I'm creating is good enough, what supplies I should be using, what stories should I be telling.
But after a while I usually come to my senses and start playing with my favorite supplies. If that doesn't work, I'll pick out a single story to work out from.
Because I was a little bit further behind than I wanted to be, I made a couple of decisions that would make it easier to work my way through this project.
I wrote down a list of topics that I wanted to cover for the month of June.
I printed out at least one picture/grabbed memorabilia for each topic/event.
I stuck with a few simple supplies (the Everyday edition was a big help).

Right now I'm back to working on my September and October pages in my 9x12 album, I'll be working more on my summer pages as I feel inspired (probably in the dead of Michigan winter when I really need a reminder of warm & sunny days). I'll be sharing more pages later this month.
