This week on the Crafty Ass Female Podcast, Amanda and I discussed a bunch of our favorite gift ideas for the Crafty Ass Females in our lives. It was definitely one of my favorite conversations this season and I absolutely love all of my choices.

Everything on my list is something I use and love (usually multiple times a week), most of them are from women-owned businesses (including mine), and everything is something that would make for a perfect gift for someone who is just like different versions of me.
I’m also sharing coupon codes if I’ve got them so that you can save extra as well.
The first gift on my list is the Get to Workbook by Elise Joy. This has been my personal planner for the last four years and I use it day-in and day-out. It’s a hefty, strong planner that will stand up to a lot of use. It is minimalist to both stand on its own or take as much decoration as you want to give it.
It’s perfect for anyone starting anything new: college, job, motherhood, anything else. It’s an absolutely amazing goal-oriented, get things done planner.
Empower Arts is a brand new magazine dedicated to telling your story aimed at the intersection of art and illness. This is such an important topic for us to have continuous conversations around and I’m so glad that the ladies of Empower Arts are making this into such a beautiful reality. I’ve written two articles for Issue One: Beginnings, and I’m so excited to share them with you.

My favorite clothes right now are from Dazey LA. I’m a comfy cozy t-shirt kinda girl and Dani Dazey makes the best, softest, quality, t-shirts I own. They’re all super cute. They’re all hand-screen printed and made by people who are paid a fair wage. They wash and dry without any problems and they’ve got fantastic feminist messaging that I think is just so perfect.

I got the Instant Pot from Amazon this July during the big Prime Day sale. It has honestly changed the way we cook in this house. It’s a pressure cooker that you can saute in the bottom of. You can do a bunch of other things as well. Around here, it gets used at least 4-5 days a week. We cook our grains in it 95% of the time. It makes the best mashed potatoes, it cooks carrots in 3 minutes, it infuses herbs into baked potatoes, makes insane broths and stocks, and so much more.
I didn’t think I wanted one for *so long* and now I’m so glad that I have it. I really love mine. It’s super easy to clean. It comes with a cookbook and there are thousands of recipes on Pinterest and all over the internet. It’s a fantastic time saver and can really up the deliciousness of your food.
My last gift suggestion is for you to gift someone a VIP membership to my community, The Awesome Ladies Project. Spending time with my community is the best thing in the world. My mission in life is to help people understand themselves through the art of feminist scrapbooking. If you have someone in your life who wants to start telling their story, or wants to start learning how to scrapbook, this is the perfect gift for them.
If you’re already an ALP Collective VIP member, you know how awesome it is (and you’ll get a discount on gift memberships), it’s perfect for your BFF, your sister, your daughter, or anyone else in your life who’s been admiring your albums and talking about how they need to make it happen as well.
Make sure to listen to this week’s episode of Crafty Ass Female to hear more about these gifts, Amanda’s gifts, and everything we think about each other’s choices.
