Daily Pages Masterclass: Collage & Found Paper Play
Join us on Saturday, February 1st at Noon ET -- Details inside.
Hey Friends!
It’s time for our monthly Daily Pages Masterclass, and this month, we’re diving into the world of collage and found paper play! If you love layering textures, mixing paper scraps, and making magic with everyday materials, this one’s for you.
Daily Pages Masterclass: Collage & Found Paper Play
Here’s what we’ve got planned:
Collage is one of the easiest and most fun ways to add depth, color, and meaning to your pages. We’ll talk about why it’s such a great technique for creative storytelling and how it can help you let go of perfectionism and embrace play.
Materials & Techniques
What do you actually need to start collaging? (Hint: You probably already have everything you need!) We’ll go over the best supplies to use, think: junk mail, old book pages, patterned paper, receipts, and magazine clippings; and show you how to layer them in a way that feels effortless and fun.
Collage Prompts & Approaches
Whether you like your pages to be structured or more free-flowing, I’ll share several different ways for you to create a collage-based Daily Page:
Intuitive Collage: No rules—just grab five scraps and start playing.
Storytelling with Collage: Use images, words, and textures to represent a mood or memory.
Junk Journal Style: Layer it up with torn edges, texture, and hidden journaling.
Live Collage Demo
I’ll walk you through creating a quick collage-based Daily Page or two in real time—showing you exactly how to layer and balance your elements for a page that feels complete (without overthinking it).
Q&A + Collage Challenge
Bring your questions, and get ready to create your own quick collage page using whatever scraps you have on hand! I’ll also share a few ways you can keep playing with collage in your Daily Pages throughout the month.
